MIAMI
Evah and I will have some work with Richard Heller Gallery at the PULSE Fair in Miami. Dec 3-5.

Konstfack Julmarknad - Stockholm !
I'll have a few little things at Evah's table in the Konstfack Christmas Market. If you know anyone in Stockholm, send them over. There will be lots of good things from tons of artists, perfect for gift giving. Dec 5-6.

Milinal
I'm happy to have my work be paired with some great experimental music. Honey Meridian by Milinal produced by the kind people at Audiobulb.

November is so dark and wet. Dang. I wonder how December is. Where is the snow anyway?
I've got some little things here and there in group shows. November 27 Evah and I have work at MOHS in Copenhagen. The show title is This Is the End of the World as We Know It to correspond with the climate talks. On December 4 we both have Post-Its at GR2 for the Post-It 4 show. Also on December 4 I'll have a few ink drawings in the Don't Wake Daddy show at Feinkunst Krüger in Hamburg, Germany.

T- Shirts + Gifts
I did some t-shirt designs over the summer for a new company in SF and they've just been released. I'm really happy with how they ended up printed. Check them out here : Red Choo Choo.

Busy busy month for me.

Richard Heller Gallery, Santa Monica, presents Places Between Here and Here, a solo
exhibition of works by Stockholm, Sweden based artist Brendan Monroe. The show will
consist of a body of paintings on paper, a large wall installation on paper and a large
hanging sculptural installation out of wood. The title, Places Between Here and Here, is
meant to be about going to other places without ever really going anywhere, like into
ones own thoughts or dreams. The title also conversely refers to the idea of going to
somewhere completely different and returning to the place where you began.
Monroe received his B.F.A. from the Art Center College of Design in 2004. He is co-
represented by Faye Fleming & Partner in Geneva, Switzerland. Brendan recently moved
from Berkeley, CA to Stockholm, Sweden to live with his wife Eva Fan who is enrolled
in a graduate program there.

Coming up:
I know it's still about a month away, but I've got a show coming up in October in Los Angeles. It opens on the 17th at Richard Heller Gallery. This is stuff I've been working on basically all year. Finally it's coming together. It'll be my 3rd solo show with the gallery and will have sculpture and painting installations among other works.
If you near Köln Germany, I'll also have some work there on the last weekend in October at Art Fair 21, Arty Farty Gallery booth.

Evah has a bunch of new work hanging in Richard's office, stop by and check it out if you are near.

STOCKHOLM:
We're here now. Evah and I set up the new studio and new place to live. It was a little surreal for a while, but now things are settling and becoming more of a reality. It's a beautiful place and and so far amazing weather. Jalapeño likes seeing all sorts of new types of birds. We're adjusting our diets to meatballs and lingonberries.
