Espacio Mínimo in Madrid, Spain has a couple pieces of mine in their group show Human Nature, co-curated by Richard Heller. It looks to be a really good show with lots of amazing work. It runs Sept 15 through Nov 8th.

A.P.E.
Coming up on October 1st - 2nd in San Francisco is the Alternative Press Expo. I'll have a few things with my friends Mark Todd and Esther Watson at the Fun Chicken table. I should have some freshly printed copies of my new comic Islands. Come by and say hi if you're there.

Surf-Jaw Print!
It's been so long since I've posted news here. Evah has a new print that just released on Tinyshowcase.com. A portion of the print sales go to benefit Pangea Seed, an anti shark finning and clean beach organization based in Japan.

Oaklanders
The new studio is officially located in Oakland, California. We will miss Stockholm for it's water and plentiful forests, but we're also happy to be back where we can get a cheap bite to eat.

SF Zine Fest
I'll be sharring a table with my friend Deth P. Sun at the SF zine fest coming up on September 4th and 5th.

Veneer
I've been playing a bit with bending and gluing. It's pretty fun and sometimes feels like like drawing in three- dimensional space. Lines and curves. . . more to come later.

Islands
I made a mini comic recently for some local comic fairs with friends. I have a few left from the first printing. If you are interested in checking it out, they're here on etsy.

Insects and pollen in the air. Worms and fungi in the ground. Lichen, slugs, rain and clouds.

NPR's Science Friday Blog
Recently Science Friday started a new blog called Science and the Arts and they invited me to share some pinhole photos and camera building experience. I've been listening for years so I feel honored to contribute. Here's my guest blog.

Austin from Stockholm: Just began his publishing company, Domino Books, for comics, artist books and prints.

Dust and Gas
These are two new prints Evah and I just finished printing. They are 3 color dot pattern prints plus a split fountain for the background. That just means they are printed similarly to offset printing(cmyk) and the split fountain allows for printing more than one color at a time and gives nice smooth gradients. These are taken from a series of original paintings that are inspired by the fact that the solar system was born from a cloud of dust and gas. From that life was born, and ultimately over billions of years humans are the result of this long evolution that began as dust and gas. They're now available here.

Cinders Resurrection:
I'll have a few paintings in the show opening up at Cinders later this month. They're coming back from the dead after the funeral of their old space. The series of three paintings I made these prints from will be among the ones there. Resurrection opens April 23.

L i m b i c P l a c e:
Thanks to everyone for all the great support for the Limbic Place zine. It's been getting lots of great features on all sorts of blogs. I'm super happy with how it turned out so it's really rewarding to get some good feedback. If you missed it check out this interview about the book and some thoughts on meditation. Sixpack France presents: L i m b i c P l a c e
I've been working with Sixpack for a while now and we've come up with some new shirts and a big new zine. The zine is called Limbic Place and is meant to be an inner journey through human instinct and primal emotions. The new shirts are also out now and you can check them all out on their site here SIXPACK.fr.
